sorry guys I know questions like this have prob been asked a million times but will 15x7's fit under a standard ute, and also what offset, lookin at a set of +10's at the moment?

should get them under the back with the right offset. probably something more about a +15 or 20

the front, if you had r31 struts you would stand a chance, might fit with stanza struts

otherwise spacers and lots of wheel outside the guard

they will fit but be outside the guards unless you have flairs.. (which by the looks you don't have) they are just a bit too wide

And depending on what your front struts are they may hit the strut or the tire may hit the strut and need spacers which are not legal


The best fitting wheel for you datsun will need to be a zero offset or up to +30 (positive) not negative (backspace), then it depends on your strut and the tub on the rear.. if its a ute more then 15x7 will probably hit the inner wheel arch needing spacers to clear..

and if the car is lowered you will need at least 175 or 195 low profile to fit under the guards and not scrape when turning

just as a note i am running 15x5.5 with +25 on the front and 15x6 on the rear with +35 and they fit clean in the guards with 175/70 and clear the strut and leaf's perfectly with room to spare
Generally you want a +30 offset wheel for tires up to 175-wide but a +25 works fine

I also have stock 1200 struts not lowered and just refitted leafs and fit fine

i have 15x6 +20 all round with 195 50s and they clear. if you go low enough the outer edge of the tire will hit the inside of the guard. but that shouldn't be an issue on the ute as they don't have the stupid step in the guard

im running 15x7 +20 with 165 50 tyres, fronts with 5mm spacer sits flush with slightly rolled guards rears sit in a bit but everything clears

rather not use spacers though bro...

Just a word of warning.... be sure to check your wheel aliment / tie rods every now and then.... I'm running the same setup 15x6, just worn both tie rods from corners....

I have 15x6.5 +16 fronts and 15x7 +15 rears, both fit inside the guard and compress well without scraping, no flares on a sedan, I measured them heavily before ordering them to get the perfect offsets.
