If the wheel has been pushed back, something must be bent.....Has the mount for the caster rod been ripped off the chassis rail or at least deformed?

My car pulls to left after wheel alignments has for ages. Have replaced all bushes and nothing bent or ripped. Should I wind more caster into left side to pull wheel forward more? (have adjustable caster rods)

Sorry thread hijack but I reckon you bent something at 100kmh

if the wheel is back and the castor rod is in-tact then the only other thing it could be is bent chassis rail, look between where the engine crossmember bolts up and the castor rod mount, should be dead flat. A give away of this being bent is that the swaybar mount will look mounted on an angle also. It's a problem my rally car has, it's bad enough the swaybar touches the sump at the front of the motor

Well guys took it to get a wheel alignment was put on the hoist and worst scenario the chassie rail is split and slightly bent althoughits still driving alright apart from the going right when the hands are off the steering wheel.

Split chassis rail = ticking time bomb. If it fails completely, anything could happen and you may lose control of the car endangering yourself and others. Get it sorted ASAP.

too expensive, i got quoted 1500 to cut the entire front off the rally car and weld another on

no engineer cert required, unless maybe you put it through insurance and they try to write it off

it will cost a bit as they will have to put it on a rack to make it square, but surely you can get out of it for less than a 1000
