I want to know if someone of you know or tried a Davies Craig radiator fan on you datsun's.
Will the 10' provide sufficient cooling in hot whether or should I rather go for a bigger fan.
Thank you

Stock A12 engine-driven fan is 12.2 inches. Do you want a smaller fan?

Not necessarily the 10' is much cheaper than the 12', and the 12' must be ordered, but it isn't worth overheating the engine.

Personally on a stock a 12 I wouldn't bother, even on a modified one the stock fan is fine. You would be better off with a larger radiator than an electric fan, unless you have done an engine conversion the stock fan usually out performs electrics on our cars.

I run a 10 inch electric fan pushing air trough. Only as no room for any other fan with my conversion and bent in front panel.

It's only adequate with larger radiators. It didn't work well with my a15 Sunny radiator was ok once I went to a pulsar radiator but by then.I did engine conversion

I just want to convert to electric because in winter time the engine takes to long to get to normal operating temp especially when I drive short distances which in most cases.

I agree that the stock engine-drive fan is the most effective

An electric fan will not help heat the engine any faster.

Unlike some other engines, the Nissan A-series is a closed system and the radiator is blocked by the thermostat on warm-up.
