just a guide line.

$15,000 AUD will get you 170 HP and the engine will last the duration of a 6 hour race.

For a engine that will last 25,000 km, $5000 will get 120 rwhp. Use a ported H89 head, dual valve springs, 272 cam, twin webers, 1.75" exhaust. And rev it up to 8500 RPM to make the most power as worked engines have less HP at low RPM than the stock engine.

170 HP is not turbocharged. And if anyone says they have an A12 that makes 225HP naturally aspirated, ask to see the dyno chart. Talk is cheap.

Ernie, what kind of HP can you build into an A15 that will last for 100,000 kms of typical street/highway use?

225hp is hard to get from an even a turbocharged A12. yes, ask for dyno sheet.
