Hey guys,
I picked up my first Datsun last August and until recently it has just sort of sat there.
Well finally I got the go in me to start tearing her apart to find all the goodies (read rust)and remove it. The usual sills, floors, seat rail and a few other areas are all treatable however I'm a little concerned about the tray. The tray has been removed but the question now is, how have you guys brought the strength back up when not putting a ribbed floor back down. Any help appreciated. Pictures to come soon!
Thanks

You can either put thick metal back down (e.g. diamond plate) or better yet, get the original lightweight high-strength steel from Nissan or from the wreckers.
