So I have my ute with me today at work. I get to my lunch break and it won't start, no power to the radio or tacho light, there's literally nothing at all, the battery is about a month old and hasent missed a beat, the car it self had like a spike on te weekend, what should I look for ?? Short circuit , alternator , starter ?? I have no idea??

Fusible link or loose ground maybe. You got road side assist?
Check fuses too.

I spoke to an auto elec that I know and he is gonna have a look at it, if he can't fix it then I will call roadside assist, I have checked all of the obvious issues, no fuses blown, battery has charge, ,loose wires I'm pretty sure there's none, I have had a previous issue with wiring behind the fuse box, it would regularly short out on me , I went over everything and neatened it up and it was all sweet again, now it has nothing

If you have a multimeter or even a test light then check for power at the usual places

At the ignition, at the lights, wherever the positive lead goes to from the battery all the way to the solenoid on the starter motor.

If you need a wiring diagram there's plenty in the wiki

I carry a test light everywhere I worked out I had power all theough the engine bay, but not through the cab, , I went over everything and worked out it was a dodgy connection from the tacho onto the constant power going to the starter, thanks guys
