hey guys
i got a bit of a problem, im doing a heart transplant in my ute from a 120y engine (i think) to a gx engine.

the engine mounts are in a different spot on the engine and i need to know if a x-member out of a coupe (which the gx came from) will fix the prob,
and will the engine sit where it did before?

any help would be sweet

yes, using the crossmember from the coupe will allow you to bolt in the gx engine, this is the reverse of a conversion i've done a couple of times to put a14/15's in coupes & sedans.keep the crossmember though, because if you trade up to an a14 or a15,you can put it back in & she looks factory.you could also sell it off,but i doubt you'd ever find another one if you ever needed it.these crosmembers are worth about $400 dollars or so new from nissan, though i haven't checked in the last year.
