Is a two door sedan a rare thing?

I was just wondering becuase my Datto is a 2 door sedan.

Are there any members of this Club in NW US or SW Canada?

Nah it's rare in Aus or NZ but heaps were available in Nth America. The Branco brothers have a couple in Portugal too. It's still good though so look after it ay bro.

Yeah, I'd say sedans are now rare in the US. In the 70s and 80s they weren't, but in the past two years maybe six runners have been advertised. I haven't seen one driving on the street in over a year. Sales figures were:

Coupes 89k
Sedans 44k

On the other hand, people bought multiple times more Ford Pintos and Chevrolet Vegas, and I'd reckon there are even less of those around. The 1200 wasn't quite so disposable or apt to rust.

For NW club members, see Washington State Datsun Fanatics?

So its important that I look after it, not that I wasn't going to :)

ddgonzal you live in Seattle? You're about the closest member to me right now, I'm in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, just over the border from Great falls, Montana.

Thanks for the url also...

I've seen a couple at one place here in Aus - they were originally private imports - RHD.

Yes, I'm in the Seattle area right off Interstate 90. There are a couple other club members in the Seattle area, and a few in Portland.

Guacamobile is in Spokane, Washington, which puts him about halfway between here and Lethbridge. It's only about 500km from Seattle to Spokane

Hey, there's a coupe with a genuine GX side-draft motor in Methow Valley for sale. It's non-running.

That's dedication importing a 2 door sedan when there was already a coupe! Were they imported from Japan? Or were they converted to RHD?

Good, so there are loads of people around that can meet up.

I'll do some work and then maybe a few of us can meet up somewheres, if the old girl can make it as far as Spokane, or Seattle.

Where is methow valley? and how much do they want for that GX.
I'll give 'em $100 :) its all I got right now...

cheers mate
