Hi Guys

i installed a new set of tie rod ends to my b310 ,and i feel it very easy to turn steering to the left(it is very light like power steering), but it is little harder to turn right than left what would be the issue do i need to do a wheel alignment ?

Yes after fitting new tie rods you should get a wheel alignment
Nice looking 555 front end too

I will guess that you have not set the wheel alignment. Whenever you remove/replace tie-rod ends, the toe-in needs to be set. See Alignment.

I have replaced my tie rod ends and also replaced the front tyres too with good ones and got the wheel alignment done by computerized place and they said there is no problem they could do it,
now steering is good no free movement no sludge but when i exceed 40kmph car front shakes a little , what should i check now ? any Ideas what should be checked anymore ?

Front 155X80R12

This is most commonly caused by wheel balancing. The smaller the tire, the more difficult it is to balance (for places used to larger tires).

You can test this out by putting the rear wheels/tires on the front and vice-versa. If the shaking stops, you will know it is the tire.

Hi DD

I interchanged the front and rear tyres then it became verse
i checked each and every tyre for bent or crucked but none of them had such an issue , so what strange problem could this have, what else to be checked further ?
It was running perfectly earlier i could reach 100 KMPH without any wobble or shaking earlier,

then suddenly it came. so i replaced the tie rod ends because they were not good too.

Could this be These Tyre Combination changes

Earlier

Rear-165X13 8PR
Front-155X12 6PR

Now

Rear -165X13 8PR
Front-155X80X13 6PR

if i interchanged this combination it became verse

Look at my Wheel Alignment Report do you see any issue there ?

thanks

sumith

It becomes worse, probably because the rear tires are more unbalanced than the front tires. Have them all re-balanced. Shops are often not correctly balancing the tires.
