a13 need help quickly!!!

I have an a13 I was going to rebuild
but due to nobody knowing anything about them
I want to sell and build a a14 would anybody
know how much a a13 would be worth only saw 1 for sale
and that was $850

If my memory of what I've read here is correct it's a bored out a12. Rebuild it like an a12 keeping in mind the piston rings will be a different size. It's a good idea to measure the bores/ pistons before buying rings anyway. Everything else should be the same.

havnt pulled it apart just look at engine number and was a13- plus numbers

There are 2 types of A13, short block and tall block
Chances are your 13 is the short block and was a jap import back in the 80's
they are favoured by historic class racers and therefore a bit more desirable and valuable than the more common A12,14,15.

So what's the tall block then, an a14 block with an a12 crank and longer con-rods? Odds on DD knows as well, he's a bit of an encyclopaedia on this sort of stuff.
