You can get Redline alloy bellmouth ram tubes locally for the same price, if not cheaper, in silver, red or blue anodised. Don't care if they're billet - there's no advantage in that other than being able to say "look at my billet ram tubes".

The redline ones Ive seen available suck in more ways than one, they are actually more expensive from most places but regardless of the price their radius design is not as effective as these or the quality efi ones. http://www.efihardware.com/products/c ... -Velocity-Stacks-Inc-BaseBillet at this price I do care, some years back my Uncle ordered a set for his one tonner and 2 of 8 redline ones he ordered arrived crushed and 3 had other damage when packed carelessly. The service in Australia is even more pathetic these days and for the price of billet ones compared to thin alloy ones cant complain or look the other way.

Surprise, surprise... D doesn't like the ones I mentioned! lol
Redline are spun alloy and are full bellmouth radiused. You can buy them at any local Autobarn or whatever without needing to risk damage from poor packaging, and cost $85 a pair when I priced them earlier this year for my 40s. That's cheaper than the technotoytuning ones last time I did maths, and that's before you factor in whatever TTT charge for freight.
All of the factors you talk about (price, risk of damage during freight) are actually negatives for the TTT ones, apart from the BS about less effiecient radius design based on nothing more than some pictures on the interwebs.

surprise surprise Harry thinks his direction of bellmouths are the only BS proof choice that should be considered, if you like those more go for them. Control dramas again Harry hahaha you again the assuming bugger you are thinking the interwebs was the stimulant to this thread. Ive seen them, not touched them while revving nicely on a well sorted 4ag 20v itb setup 2002 club car recently at a Bimmer cruise which I didnt want to mention, yes I have a not so secret obsession with old 2002s coupes more than 4 door 510s. Spun alloy or billet I know which I like and dont care for most Redlines products or monopoly great to have a choice.
