Wiring questions - 1980 1200 ute

Can someone help identify where these wires go?

1) Wiring diagram from service manual

2) Unidentified wires not in wiring diagram - near clutch cable inlet - Yellow/red and Black wires

3) Black wire near #2 spark plug in photo... says "to distributor" ?(Number 16 in diagram) Connects to what?

2) to "condensor" ? (Number 6 in diagram) - Yellow wire near wiper motor

3) (Numbers 1 to 4 in diagram) Green to "throttle opener cut solenoid" / Blue to "water temperature switch" / Black to "fuel cut solenoid" / Black and Blue to "VC cut solenoid" ?

Mine are not connected either.

You should have a connection at the back of your distributor coming from the seam between the cap and the metal body.

Not sure of the others. Thats all I know

Thanks. I forgot to mention I have an electronic distributor so maybe thats why I couldn't find the connection??

Number 3 (1-4) are for the emissions control. The water temp is the sensor at the front of the head on the inlet/exhaust side of the head. The black is to the fuel idle cut off on the carby, the other 2 are to the other solenoids on the inlet manifold. If you've got rid of the emissions,or fitted a different carby/s, you dont need them. Otherwise they run down the rocker cover on the passenger side of the engine.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

Really confused as to where the black wire goes to on the distributor?

More than likely the wire near the dissy is an earth connection. Some dissy's had a spade terminal attached to the vaccum advance canister. Not really necessary as there is already an earth connection going back to the coil in the wiring of the electronic dissy.

The wires in photo no2 are probably for the wiring on the brake master cylinder reservoirs for a low level warning.
looks to be bullet connections like they use.
