I have an A15 and it was running perfectly then it started running rough then died. It has spark fuel and air. The vacuum advance does not seem to be working. I used my mouth to try to create a suction but couldnt. It's the only thing I can find wrong. If its bad would it cause it to not start. I have fuel injected.

Disconnect the hose from the distributor and plug it. It will run OK when plugged, but is a vacuum leak otherwise.

Sound like a water droplet has gotten into the carb
Drain the fuel bowl and see if it starts up. Only takes 5 minutes to try.

Did you ever figure out the intermittent "underwater" sound of your A15?

Yes it was the computer. Wen it got hot it would not work properly. I moved it. It is fuel injected so I don't have a carb. I wish I did then I could get rid of the computer which is its biggest problem. Started it this morning and warmed it up runs great. I shut it off and it won't start.

Can you upload some pictures of your engine setup?

The map sensor even though it was working was somehow preventing the coil from sending a ground to the injector and working. New sensor and it is fixed
