Hey there everyone.
Firstly apologise for my messy last attempt at a topic, thanks to Flatto and Clyons8 for picture advice!Glad to be on this forum you've all been very helpful just by me reading through and learning so much about a series engines etc over the last year. I'm 21 years old and reasonably new ish to cars and have mostly only had online research as experience and now a little experience with my forester, L series touring wagon and the Datto.
I'll make this as short and sweet as I can!
I bought this beautiful VB10 from Dave (D) about a little less than a year ago. Has under the bonnet an a12 with only a shaved head mostly stock other than pulsar dizzy.

Plans are to love and use it as a daily run around and gig wagon. It fits my one man band kit in perfectly with minimal room to spare. I'll take some pictures of that all hopefully this weekend if I get out on the street. Dreams are to make it a functional retro mild-rat-look with a nice stainless roof rack, stock interior, green paint pretty much exactly the same as the mazda wagon below, put my starsharks on it and slam it a little more. I'll also be reupholstering back seats and getting someone to professionally put baby anchor points in so I can cart my two sons around too for camping and stuff.
Green paint very very close to what i'm going to do...

I'm currently planning out an sr16ve conversion maintaining the 1.6 block rather then the de block for legal sake. Although the a12 will probably remain for a year or so.
Recently changed gearbox from a10 one to a 120y gearbox I got from Harry (L18-B110).
This car was the first engine i've taken out as I had to change rear main seal and front seal. Learned alot from it...

Finally got it on the road last thursday the 23rd with minor things needed including mod plates for the disc brakes on all four and for the 240z seats.

It was just in time for my wife's 21st b'day and we planned the weekend at a caravan park on the Gold Coast and went to Movieworld and Wet 'n' Wild. Which was awesome!

We managed to chuck a double mattress in the back of the wagon and had 2 very well slept nights, mostly, until the occasional leg cramp...
