thats better im in melb too, i know where there a 1200 sitting outside a house in hawthorn, ive had my eye on it for a while for a project car for myself actually, but am willing to share it, it looks like its been sitting there for ages, it unreg original as, red paint, rusting in usual places, pretty much all along the bottom of the can on the outside panels, i havent spoken to the owners but its probably going cheap, where are you in melb exactly, im in bayswater

my mum and her boy friend rally so i go to a lot of rallys but i have had a bit of fun in 1600 rally car lastr month

so you are going to start building a rally car already?
i wish i thought of it when i was 15, im now 20 and just getting my 1200 rallycar finished now, all ineed is a roll cage and shes pretty much done except for doing up the suspension

i bought the motor worked out of a rolled 1200 rallycar it has a monster cam, bored 40thou, gx head, twin webers
im not 100% sure of everything done though as i bought it done
it makes 56kw at rear wheels so i was told, but all i know is that it goes pretty hard

ive got 5-speed and 4.9:1 h165 diff with sprung load locker (like lsd but not so strong, a lot cheaper though)

from my experience most people are keen to help once you tell them your trying to build your first rally car and stuff, theres quite a few people that have help me get where i am upto so quick and i am very gratefull, you must be talking to the wrong people, who are you reffering to?
