To adjust the boost you just have to restrict the signal to the waste gate. The more restriction there is the more boost it will have

there r many methods for controlling boost pressure
some use boost control valves before reference line to wastegate, some use electronic boost controllers, some just put WG actuator in a vice and press them, some use bleeds, some use a spring to increase resistance on WG opener. do a search on google for BOOST CONTROLLERS u will find more then u need bro

Here is a simple, "hardware store" boost controller.
You will need the following:
One pipe coupler, short piece of pipe with threads on each end.
Two nipples that will thread to the coupler and fits the hose to the wastegate.
One ball bearing that will fit inside the coupler but won't go through the nipple.
One spring that will fit inside the coupler but that the ball bearing won't pass through.
Several washers that fit inside the coupler.

First, drill a very small hole in the side of the coupler. This is so that the boost can bleed off and the wastegate will close again when the level drops.
Thread one of the nipples to the coupler. this will be the one connected to the intake manifold.
Drop the ball bearing and the spring into the coupler, in that order.
Now comes the tricky part. Thread the other nipple (the one that will go to the wastegate) to the coupler using the washers to adjust the preload on the spring. This will cause the ball bearing to seal off the boost signal until a certain level is achieved. Once the boost pushes the ball off of the inside of the nipple, the wastegate will get a signal and open. The more washers, the more preload. The more preload, the higher the boost in the manifold before the wastegate opens. The higher the boost in the manifold, the more fun you have!
*************WARNING**************
Start small!!!!!!! Use no washers at first and build up to the desired level! You may even have to play with different springs.
By the way, when you blow up your engine from over boosting it, You didn't get this idea from me! In fact, don't even do this! Ignore this post entirely!

Don't forget that some turbo installations don't have an adjustable boost control. Like barpk says, there are details on the various systems online.

Is yours a standard factory turbo engine?
