Hi ppls

Im thinking about buying a 1200 coupe to replace my CRX which is currently for sale.

I know they wont be too easy to find but what are my chances of finding one in the Sth island.

I dont know too much about them but am learning fast. A friend of mine's brother owns one which is what got me thinking about it. My dad used to own a 120Y SSS so I know they go pretty well.

Cheers
Paul

I know this won't help you much since I'm in the US and you are in NZ but, I have paid as little as $5 and as much as $2000 for a coupe.

it depends on if you want a standard one or a modified one also, they are in the trade and exchange in auckland like every two mounths about $2000 for a decent one.

Good choice Paul - they are around but are hard to find. I know the Old School movement has gobbled them up but ChCh used to be good for a few. I do know where a minter coupe is parked up in a shearing shed down South but the DLF is keeping tabs on that. If you do score one you'll love it after the CRX.

i picked up my minter in chch off and old lady coz she pranged the front quarter pannel ($110 worth) for $450. Im sure if you have patience you can find a good one for anywhere between $500 - $2000 thats if its stock. if not then anywhere up to $7000 - $8000 depending on amount of work and craftmanship. good luck.

DLF, or Datsun Liberation Front, is a secret organization that rescues lonely and tired Dattos being mistreated by their owners.
