Hi All,
I can see in the diagram that each connector from the dropping resistor goes to an injector but just wondering where the BW wire then goes off to? I'm assuming 12v power but just wondering what kind of fuse I'd need etc or should it be run on a relay and through the ignition etc?

It all depends on which car the diagram is for.

Some Nissan have the resistors wired inline, I think that's what the B310 EFI uses.

Some Nissan have a common lead resistor, as per the diagram posted. What car is that from?

I'm just trying to work out how I'd wire it in with my a15 efi setup? The alternative is to buy a platinum sport haltech ecu and not use the resistor

The answer is: it depends on which ECU you plan to use.

Yes, it is tempting to spend $1000 for a new ECU so you can eliminate the dropping resistor.

* The early Nissan B310 ECU uses an 8-wire resistor pack, and each resistor is wired inline with one injector. Same as Datsun 810
* The late Nissan B310 ECU uses a 5-wire resistor pack, same as EXA Turbo.

If you do not have the original engine wiring harness, wire each resistor to the ECU injector signal and to a resistor, then power the resistor pack via the common lead.

Thom, do you already have a Datsun ECU with matching air flow meter? If so that'll work fine and self-tune. Which one do you have?

What is a 15e ECU?

haltech is good; any of the ECUs from the last five years should run the EFI no problem even with the standard distributor.

This is the dropping resistor I have. It only has two wires coming out. Dropping Resistor
