If you're working on a 1200 Sedan or 1970s 1200 ute, start with removing the headlight Eyebrows screws that go into the guards. (one screw per side)

Then:
* unbolt all the bolts at the top of the guard, under the bonnet.
* One or two bolts per side at lower front of guard, attaching it to front apron
* One bolt per side at lower rear of guard
* iirc, there is one at front next to each headlight
* one bolt at rear edge, visible when door is opened

Ah, that's a Datsun 320 with the 1189 cc 1200 engine. Our site here specializes in the 1970-up Datsun 1200 mini-cars . Your 320 will be different. But the guard probably attaches similarly. Just have to find all the bolts. Sometimes there is sealer on the top edge so a little careful prying will help it come off.

Looks like the bumper, grille and headlights all need to come off first
