Hi! Does any have this gear box? Or knows any thing about it? Ratios: 1- 2,862 2- 1,908 3- 1,350 4- 1.000 I should be great with a shorter (4,111) diff. I found it in the 1970, datsun 1200, FIA homologation. daniel

This the middle close ratio trans Installed in non U.S. datsun 1200s. I use This gear set in autocross 1200 with a 4.625 limted slip h145a rear end. I have had this gear set in my 1200 about 10 years now. I have been lucky not to have blown it up, parts are no longer available. Bob

Was just looking at a Nissan Motorsports book, and found these figures. Option 1 box 1st - 2.862 2nd - 1.704 3rd - 1.262 4th - 1.000 A stock box has 1st - 3.757. Your box may be a race box. Davo

Hi, Daniel, The gearbox was one of Nissan's race/rally option gearboxs. They were great behind a small motor less than 1300cc but they were fragile wth any big torquey motors. The dog leg 5 speeds from later Sunnys 310 were much stronger and were in some instances almost as close ratioed as the expensive Nismo bits. I've got one tucked away but it jams in gear when we put any more than 140hp thoughit. No it's not for sale!!!
