I know this is probably common knowledge but am I right in saying that complete 120y disc brake struts will bolt into a 1200 that had drums?

You'd need the master if it's not duel circuit master and maybe the brake lines and splitter depends on the sedan plus ppl change lots over 30+years

I'm pretty sure the strut tops have to be swapped as well. The 120y fit under the strut tower whereas the 1200 top protrudes through the tower. They will fit but will raise the front of the car. Not sure if this is for all models?
