hi, i am new to this message board,
I have a 71 sedan with the A12 engine, Its has , i think, the nissan motorsports gx head?, and su carbs,and a jc whitney header. how much power can one of these engines put out?
can you build one too put out 100, 120 hp?

Hi and welcome. You can get 100 hp from the A12 without too much trouble by taking it out to around 1290 cc, headwork(valves and porting - depends on your GX head), correctly jetted/choked twin carbs, and a good header and exhaust system. Or you can start with an A14 or A15 and end up with 140hp.
