Hey all,
I need to find a side draught weber manifold for my A15. I bought a lynx one that I got told was for A-series but it doesn't fit.
My question is are there different types of heads that need different manifolds and how can I tell what I need.

Thanks,
Tim

There's just oval port and regular round port ones?? The studs should fit, just that the ports may not be the right size/shape. I don't think sizes are different, except maybe on the GX ones.

You may need to use the gasket for your head, to mark out the manifold, and get a diegrinder to matchport the manifold.

I've seen "the above" selling the A series single weber manifolds. I don't know what they suit.

Chris.

Nope. It definately doesn't fit. For starters I have for studs in my head and the new manifold has only two holes. I must have the completely wrong thing.

So you say any manifold to suit A-series will bolt up to it but I may need to change the ports??

Standard A12 from 1200's and a lot of 120Y's only have two bolt holes right?
A14, A15 and some A12's have more bolt holes.
I know this because my manifold wasn't properly bolted in and it cracked and I had a bitch of a time finding one that didn't just have 2 holes in it...

Yeah just checked then. Orginal ones (in my experience) have a hole between each set of two and others have one on the outside corner of the set of two.
Does the ports match up?
Might be able to get some different bolt holes welded on? I dunno....
I wouldnt' minda proper manifold for mine. It is smaller than my ports at the moment. But it was the only one that I could find...

Yeah mine has 4 studs...one in each top corner like you say.

I'd rather get one that bolts up properly but i can't find anywhere that sells them for A15. They are all for 1200's.

Does anyone no of any??
