I paid $700 for my spare race head and it didn't come with a side draft manifold. I'd say this miss a good deal. It's also being sold by a well known club member.

Is this a GX head, or something different?

Better than the GX head

It is a "ported and polished" A12T twin carb head. Just like the GX head but lacking the oil passage for pre-1974 engines. And has been fitted with larger A14-size valves. See Nissan Competition Head

Are the guides in good shape? Other than a set of dual springs and a Nissan Head Gasket, anything else needed to put this to use?

What could I expect from this with an A14 and dual Webers?

I dunno, but you can check out advertisement on eBay, it might be a brand new head (making the valve guides brand new). The valves are obviously used but Nissan Competition sold the head without valves
