Hi Guys

Car engine Suddenly stalled on heavy traffic, could not start it back ,after 5 minutes time it started and found no issue afterwards, that time ignition coil was more hotter than usual, this is the second time i faced a similar situation, first time it was the b310 this time it b210 what do you think has anybody experienced similar stalls on traffic , when there is no traffic and moving no issue it can stay without any stall ?

thanks
regards
sumith

sounds like condenser is not working properly and needs to be replaced can make your coil hot or faulty wires across the resister

But certainly sounds more like a condenser

Replace or change out to electronic ignition and electronic coil for better reliability and performance

Good idea. Points & Condensor are supposed to be replaced every 12 months, and adjusted every 3 months

After switching to full electronic ignition, no periodic maintenance is required

Another possible cause is a loose wire on the coil. If your car has the push-on terminals (instead of the screw-down type) they can loose tight contact occasionally. That used to happen to my A12
