Hi All, got a '84 vanette with A12 engine, keeps braking bolts on split manifold. Looking for a set of extractors to suit. Can any one help.

Craig, extractors generally have more bolt problems than cast manifolds. If they are breaking, they are either the wrong bolts, or they are too tight. Use a torque wrench to tighten to spec -- it's only 0.9-1.4 mkgs on the manifolds -- not very tight.

Thanx ddgonzal, for the info, one off the blokes I spoke to in a spare parts place suggested I try extactors, the main problem is, the bolts holding the inlet and exhaust mainfolds together either snap off or come loose. Thanx for the wrech settings as well.
