Hi Bob, In our A series race engines we use a hybrid pump. It is the internals of a L16/20 oil pump in an A series housing that has an extension made from a second A series housing. This requires a couple of extra gaskets and longer bolts. It sounds complicated but it's really straight forward with any competant machinist being able to modify the housing. We have been using this style of pump for over 10 years and we've never had a problem. You will have increased volume and a slightly higher pressure. And it's cheap too.
