I had to do my header a few years back. Sandblast - with the help of a friend - then applied stainless steel paint - purchased from Eastwood - paint on with a brush. The s.s. paint does not fully cure until on the car and the heat will take care of the cure - does dry to the touch. Worked great - and have not corroded / or rust.
