I have the following competition bits in my collection, I am wondering what they are worth?

I'm still interested in the H145 LSD's once I figure out what I have in there at the moment.
I'm concerned about freight from NZ though. A friend of mine is keen on a set of wheels for his EVO which are located in NZ.....the wheels are cheap enough at $500 for 4 but the $400 freight to get them here sounds like extortion.
How close to Puke.. are you ? I might be able to get them on a truck when the bigboys come over for V8 supertaxis.

Of course I have to figure out what I have and what I need first.....and of course come to some price agreement. I'll let you know when I check out my diff.

Dattoman_1000

I live in Pukekohe - Pukekohe is a town approx 50 kms south of Auckland central CBD with a population of 9000, its grows to approx 60000 on the weekend of the V8's.

By the way, $400 is extortion, I can move the wheels AND the diff for probably half that!
(suggest the wheels only move, i.e. have the tyres removed).

let me know
Brent

I think the wheels are in Aukland too
And they are just wheels with no tyres
I'll find out again from him.
I still need to get into the shed and do some measuring.....its unfortunatly dark when I go to work and dark when I get home so I have to wait for the weekend when the suns out to have a look. We have a lazy long weekend this weekend so I will be taking a measuring stick to the diff then.
I'll be back in touch when I know.......and once I have measurements it would be nice if someone can tell me what I have. I'm not much good with identifying diffs.

edit.
Wheels have no tyres (unless he can get them here cheaply).....can be boxed for shipping.
Problem is they are in Wellington.

where about's in Wellington? I have family down there & go down often, I could grab them on my next trip if you like, my road car is a large mitsi station wagon so space isn't any issue.

Bobs1200,

I don't know what they're worth, the idea of this thread is to try and determine that.
I believe that something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and the freight/shipping costs are also part of the equation.
I know that both these gearboxes are rare at hen’s teeth or rocking horse poo and when I found them I had to pay a pretty penny for them.
So basically you tell me what you’re prepared to pay for each or both gearboxes, but unless I can replace them with a Toyota or Ford gearbox with minimal financial outlay from myself I won't take this any further.
I need to get approx NZD1800.00 (USD1000.00) collectively for this to be a viable option - these gearboxes absolutely make my car sing, they my car from being an also ran to the front of the class.
