I've got a mildly worked L20B with only 3000k on it since a full reco. .040" 1998CC, with twin 38 Hitachi SUs (polished and detailed with big custom alloy heat sheild), needles to suit the 72 cam, factory big port big valve head. mising some accessories like water pump, alternator. $400

where are you?

Harry,

we've just put an L20 in our 1200.
How did you go for bonnet clearance, with your L20 fitted.

cheers

Bruce

yeah, like I said they are polished with big custom alloy heatsheild, ram tubes with foam sock filters, 2 sets of needles - one to suit the 72 cam and the standard ones. $200
I know it's top dollar for that type of carb but they are in perfect condition and I've put alot of work into them as well.
you can have the cam for another $50 - it's a good combination with those carbs.

Bruce, I had no problem with clearance. Never measured it though. Are you having trouble?
