ok on the top of all utes there is the hook's4 the canopy ..i wana no who has cut of the top sil along the top and how 2 do it as the gaurd meets up and is spot welded there and wanna cut mine of can anyone help i have done it on my 1000 ute 2 day and as i on a roll wanna do the 1200 ute 2! hehe but dont want 2 stuff up the rear quarter

dont do it, just take the hooks out and fill the holes, dont cut the lip.

I've cut the lips off mine.. you'll need to re weld along the entire seam.

If you want to cut the sil around the window out also, you need to be extremely careful, as this can upset the structural integrity of the body.

If you're unsure about it, l'd avoid it and just fill the gaps.

ive nearly completed my 1000 ute with the cuting i'll c how that ends up after stitch welding it and then if it looks good i will do it 2 my 1200! im not atempting the window im not that good with the angle grinder yet!
it just looks so good on the ute TUFAZZ i want mine 2 look like that 2!
