i was just wondering about a S/C, and just thought how would a S/C "setup/work" with twin sidedraughts? is it possible? or would to small S/C's for each carb be better?

p.s i am not planning on doing this really, i am just mostly intrested

Cheers

All the superchargers I've seen are too big for a 1200, so two small ones might be difficult to find.

I have seen s/c with twin sidedraughts, not very common though. Search the 'Net and you might find some pics of V8s like this. The blower is on top of the engine and the carbs over the rocker covers.

Also for more interesting stuff and pics of the super charged 1200, see the Tech Section article Supercharging and Turbo-supercharging

How about the s/c of a Toyota 4AGZE? Thats an idea but then if you think about it, a lot of 4AGZE owners swap the s/c for a turbo.

Yeah, you could make up an inlet plenum that bolts on where the trumpets bolt on and have the S/C blowing into that.

Or you could also swap the webers for quad throttle bodies (a few companies make full injection setups that bolt onto weber manifolds) and do the same thing except have injection.

The one that I had...

Is of the ahh crap can't think of it... It's the 2 litre s/c toyota. 1gsomething.

It could probably have been made to fit. But I wanted a simpler way of doing it. There was a 1200 down at the exhaust shop that had the 4agze s/c bolted in where the alternator sits and the alternator moved to the original 1200 position under the exhaust.

I just wanted to copy their formula...

Oh, how is my supercharger doing mr dattoman?
