Hey guys,
I've come to a dilemma, who makes air filters that bolt to the CA18's AFM???? I know Unifilter make on called a RAMPOD, but that costs $175!!!!!! Anyone know a cheeper alternative??? Or do I have to bite the bullet and pay the $175???
Cheers
Damo

you should be able to get a small adaptor piece that bolts on to the AFM then leaves a 3" (or thereabouts) outlet to clamp on a pod filter....

i was able to get one for my rb30 in the skyline i used to own....

cost me around $7 and i got it from the auto shop that i bought the filter from... cant remember now was a few years ago...

There's the horn on the inside of the original airbox. You could cut the horn part off and glue or weld a straight piece of 2.5ish inch tube onto the end in order to fit a sock onto the end of the tube, giving you a place to clamp onto.

If the glue idea freaks you out, you can always paint it black and it'd look fine. If there's some rough edges, just bog over them. The airbox is never really hot, so glue or bog would be fine.
