This may seem like a stupid question but anyway- Is there any difference in the engine bay sizes/setup of the 1200 coupes/sedans/utes and what about the rest of the front, are the suspension setups similar?
I ask this because I have read plenty of information regarding engine conversions in 1200 sedans/coupes and I am about to begin a conversion on my ute, so if there is no difference, then I can use the info I have.
Thanks

As far as I know the engine bays of all the cars are the same size. Some of the later 1200 utes have a few thigns in different places. But the engine bays are the same size.
Suspension set ups are a little different. Sedans, utes, wagons had drum brakes on the front and the coupes had the discs on the front.
That shouldn't matter if you are doing an engine upgrade as you will probably want to change the brakes over anyway..

OMG! I just noticed that you are another Canberran! Wohoo! Soon we we take over the world!
