Hi all,
I wont name names but there are some companies out there that have yet to learn the art of customer service.(But claim everything in the advertisements!)

Can any one recommend or not recommend a good business to purchase an import motor (half/cut)from that deals interstate.

Much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where are you from in AUS?

The level of Service is inversely proportional to the distance from an angry customer who wants to kill everyone in the shop...

They may all start out nice..but the Australian Taxation department pushes all of them to rip off customers..its the only way they can make money in the cut-throat business of second hand Japanese Engines.

I recommend finding a business that imports and does other things on the side...
Chris

Hey, anybody heard of a guy named Grant Graham who either runs or works at a shop in Perth or Brisbane or someplace in between?

I would have to recomend central vic auto parts. in Shepparton vic

I am buying my second ca18det off them and they have given me a gr8 deal,
My first one cost me $1100 and has copped a thrashing for a year now, the turbo now is stuffed buit thats my fault, its onlt t25 and ive had the boost over 20 psi most of the time, but the engine still runs well
this next one I might keep on 15 psi and I guess the turbo might last the distance.
I went to see them this week and for a motor and box they want $1300
and for a half cut with all pannels they want $2500, bargin eh?

It seems most of the businesses that advertise in the usual "OZ" four cylinder magazines need to be shown how to actually "COMPLETE" a transaction.

I'd hate to think what would happen if you had some type of problem under warranty, when not one of them can return a phone call to give a total cost - or how to pay them.

They just assume we are all dreamers. It's no wonder at all that business go broke around the country.
