My clock just stopped working, do I have to take the whole dash to fix this for loose wiring? or is there an easier way to do it?

I got a nissan service manual for my model but it doesnt say about the clock just say how to pull everything off.

thanks in advance

The clock is integrated into the instrument cluster. It is held onto the dash by 4 screws...The clock probably has a loose wire , cause Nissan clocks never stop!!
Anyway, I wouldnt bother about it..

you have to take out the instrument cluster to get to the clock, yes.the best thing i ever did to my sunny with the analogue clock was to replace it with the entire dash from a later sunny, crash pad & all.this gave me a digital clock & nice legible speedo & tacho.though if you've got any early sunny,do you want a coupe dash to suit.the clock in it worked, but the tacho didn't.probably an easy fix on the tacho.p.s. does your economonitor (read vaccum guage) still work?i always wanted to see this in action.

It works perfectly before I adjusted the fast idle, used to turn red from green but now its only green to nothing.... no light at all. It was cool when I first got this car cos I didnt know much about the car and when I drove it I'm like what the hell is that red & green circle!
I bought this car for my mum she only drives automatic, but now I dont want to give the car to her... hehehe might just buy her something else.
