Hey all, new to the boards here but I have a question or two about the 1200 Ute. I live in queensland so is it legal for me to have a CA18DET conversion (engineered and all) or can I only go with the non-turbo version? Are there any good workshops in Brisbane (or surrounding area?) that could do this sort of work? Cheers guys.

In short, yes. If you get the ute engineered you are able to get a CA18DET engineered and registered in QLD. Not too sure about workshops, though I have heard about Cragar Performance in Browns Plains. They did some work a while back on a 10sec CA18DET 1200 ute.

If you were lucky enough to live here in the capital you could get away with a SR20DET!
