Clutch Won't Release Fully
Difficult to shift gears due to failure to fully release
- improper adjustment of linkage
- incorrect length of Release Bearing sleeve fitted
Grabby clutch
- Drum shoe brakes too tight, or contaminated with oil or grease. Inspect drum brakes
- Oil or grease on clutch face
- Disc rivets loose
- Poorly lubricated clutch disc splines
- warped pressure plate
- Misaligned clutch. Make sure there is no junk between gearbox
- worn clutch cable (common with RHD clutches)
- Worn lining. Replace disc
