And then another Datsun pulls up behing to top it off (it's a yellow B210 2-dr sedan, more clearly seen at 11:42 when he catches a ride behind the police car). - At 38 minutes* for about one minute as Lyle Waggoner's Intermeccanica Italia gets stolen there is a like-new green 1200 coupe right behind the actors. A good view of the rear, but a bit of the side is also visible. You can see the what the original "bright" green looked like (this is not the dark green).
- At 120 minutes (scene lasts about 4 minutes) the main character drives past the (12 story?) Nissan North America headquarters building before turning into the Torrance Mazda agency, through Butler Buick and into the Moran Cadillac dealership. There is a clear shot of the rear of a white 1200 coupe. There may be Datsun 1200 2-dr sedans and coupes visible along the street and maybe in the car lots, it's hard to say.
And though literally hundreds of other cars are damaged, as far as I can tell no Datsuns were harmed during the movie.
