Director to extras - 'Whatever you do, don't look at the camera'. Movie is indeed 'Starstruck' filmed in & around the Rocks area of Sydney, ending in a New Years Eve concert at the Opera House. I can remember being in high school, big announcement was that 2 students had got parts in a dance scene from this movie. Turned out they were a mates younger brother & sister.

Oh, by the way, that thing in her hair, she's a punk rocker, so they can wear all sorts of crap. The kid, her brother, however, just wants to 'live in a house, with it's own letter box'. Thats the song from the dance sequence, by the way.

So that is Nigel's sedan in the background?

I remember when everyone had hair that big, about the time I got my first Datsun.

It's about time someone asked. It is from an old movie named "Starstruck". See details here: club wiki - Movies

Hey Guys!!

I know where that is.

It has to be Australia because there is no rear quarter blinker repeater light.

That is on the corner of King and Clarence Street in Sydney. The Pub/Hotel is Trumps Tavern. Definitely in the early-mid 80s.

My favourite Laksa in the world is made at a Thai Bistro in that hotel

First thing I thought what the hell is this photo, then I saw the 1200.

Why is this in the Tech Section?

Yes I'm good

ps. Here's the google Earth link I created:

 Re:
From the shape of the side window, & the glint from what looks to be a reas door handle, my guess is that this is a four door 1200,..... which were not sold in the US, so what is the origin of this image?

 Re:
To the left of the "blue haired" guy, the stricker on the rubbish bin says "DO THE RIGHT THING" which is a sign commonly seen in australia. so it could be an aussie shot.
Also the ONE WAY sign is similar to the ones seen here.

 Re:
Yeah it looks to be NSW judging from the yellow number plate on the Porsche, The use of the word hotel on the awning is also quite Aussie. And the 'Don't Walk' sign....

 Re:
I though it might be a 1200 sedan, but it didn't have the round emblems on the C-pillar.

What about the white one? Is that a B10?

USA have the same "HOTEL" awnings and the One Ways look the same, but the "don't walk" looks unfamiliar. Looks like it could be New York in the 80s, but we didn't have 4-dr sedans ... so maybe it is Melbourne.
