The Justy pistons can used in a modified A15 block, and will give 1608 ccs.

  • 79mm Subaru Justy pistons. remember: the Justy is a three cylinder engine- so order four pistons and two ring sets
  • Bore the A15 block 3mm overbore. A15 can be safely overbored 2mm, so have the block sonic tested and use offset boring if necessary.
  • Use original A15 rods and have them bronze bushed from their 19mm size down to the 18mm Subaru size
  • the piston crowns will .070" below the A15 deck at TDC. So have the block decked .065".
  • Compression will be around 10.25 to 1
  • Use the Nismo big-bore head gasket. All stock Nissan gaskets have too small a bore size for 79 mm.
