Trim levels distinguish a model, and provide selling brackets for various buyers. Datsun 1200 came in these trims, from lowest to highest:
- Standard (スタンダード)
- Semi-DX (van only)
- DX (Deluxe, デラックス)
- Super Deluxe (van only, スーパー デラックス)
- GL (Grand Luxury, グランデ ラクジアリ)
- GX (Grand Luxe Twin Carb)
