Vanette C22 came with modern Electronic Ignition distributors for A-series engine. C22 for Japan-market had electronic ignition with the A15 engine. Europe only got points even for the 1992 models.

In 2010, a chinese copy of the G5110 became available. No word yet on the quality of reliability of the electronic components.
Tell-tale identification is the Austin-like dizzy clamp.
