Microfiche is a piece of film with a document on it. They are about the size of a postcard/photo 3.5 x 5" each with several dozen pages of the catalog. So a set about 1/2 thick is the whole catalog. Use a slide viewer and magnifier to view it. So a regular paper catalog is better unless you don't have room to store it.
