Overview

Early Style for all Round Headlight models (1977-1979)

Early: Individual pods for gauges of instrument panel
Late: Single large opening for instrument panel 

Late Style for Square Headlight models (1980-1982)

Early

1977-1979 + all Japan VB310 van (all round headlight models) used a wide driver's "cockpit" that encompassed the radio and center vents.

Late

1980-1982 switched to a smaller driver's "cockpit" that included just the instrument panel -- the radio and center vents were outside of this area. Japan vans stayed with the early style.
