Cam Followers, commonly called Lifters or tappets, are between the camshaft and the pushrods.

Inspect for Damage

Good lifter on right, bad lifter on left.

Large Diameter Lifter

At right is the standard valve lifter, but the umbrella diameter is not enough in the cam where the lift quantity is large. The left's umbrella diameter is larger:

B-Pro Lifter

An ecomonical lifter from B-Pro, is lighter (50g) than the stock A-series lifter (60g+).
This B-Pro lifter was already discontinued.
