エンエン1000キロを超高速で走る長距離レースは、ドライバーもたいへんだが、これは交代できる。だが、車は息つくひまもない。スタート後、たいてい2時間位で、脱落する車が多い。こんども予選上位の車が、つぎつぎ消えた。ムリもない、豪雨のなかの最悪コンデイションだ。サニーもドライバー交代などでピットインはするが、メカニックをあわてさせることはない。回を重ねるごとに快調だ。排気量にすぐれ、総合優勝をねらう他車にけっして見劣りしない。軽快でかつ強烈に回るサニー·エンジン、ビシッときまったサスペンション。水しぶきのなかで、豪壮な感じすら見える。幾十万サニー党の名誉をになった、ケッ作車の晴れ姿でありました。
A long distance race of 1000km at ultra high speed is tough for the driver, but the driver can be replaced. But the car has no time to catch his breath. Many cars usually drop out about two hours after the start. This time, cars that were in the top positions in the qualifiers disappeared one after another. It's not impossible, the conditions are terrible in the heavy rain. The Sunny also pits in to change drivers, but it doesn't make the mechanics panic. It's getting better with each pit stop. With its excellent displacement, it is in no way inferior to other cars aiming for the overall victory. The Sunny engine revs lightly and powerfully, and the suspension is firm. It even looks magnificent in the spray of water. It was a magnificent sight for the car that has brought honor to hundreds of thousands of Sunny fans.

Fresh Sunny Wins
富士1000キロにさきがけて行なわれたレース。ニちらは20周、86キロ。若い選手中心だが、どうして腕もなかなか。サニー勢は、もちろん優勝をいただき、20周を40分09秒8１で走りきった秋山孝司選手を、筆頭にみんな8位以内に入賞。他車はバラバラであります。ハイ!
This race took place before the Fuji 1000km. Both were 20 laps, 86km. Most of the riders were young, but they were quite skilled. The Sunny team, of course, won the championship, and everyone, including Takashi Akiyama, who completed the 20 laps in 40 minutes 9.81 seconds, placed within the top 8. The other cars were all over the place. Yes!
