Nissan NA engine was the successor to the Z-engine, and so uses the L-series block design. It has an efficient roller rocker OHC cylinder head.

Overview

  • 1993–2009 Nissan K30 "Nissan Crew". NA20P is Propane version
  • gasoline NA20S was used in 1989-1999 Datsun Truck D21 (Navara/Hard body platform) and Homey, Caravan, Atlas

Like the Z-series head, the NA head sits 30-35mm lower than an L series head. It easily accepts Z18ET turbo manifolds even exhaust accepts KA24E turbo manifold with little work.

Alloy rocker cover too you can source complete head from New Zealand for cheap or Japan to get a complete head but I recommend the Chinese heads as they are new and are used throughout Asia to replace the Japan-cast porous units and their combustion chambers are more efficient than original versions. Asian taxis use these heads and the efficient chamber design came about as Asian taxi companies needed further fuel savings.
