The Mitsubishi Galant Lambda hardtop coupe was sold as Dodge Challenger/Plymouth Sapporo in North America and as the Chrysler Scorpion in Australia.

Overview

The Lambda was the last of the RWD Galants, except for the A180 Mitsubishi Starion sports car.

The 2nd generation Lambda (1981-1984) featured similar but restyled bodywork, and a larger, better-riding chassis.

Rear Axle Assembly

Scorpion rear axle assembly can be narrowed to fit a 1200 and the right spring perches welded on.

Japan-built
* 7.5" 10-bolt same a Pajero L300 2WD
* 8.0" L300 4WD rear diff

The Japan diff is 90mm wider than a 1200 diff, and is good for 250 ft. lbs torque
