The very pretty B-210 Hatchback is also practical as pie. Its flip up hatch and fold down back seat make it a mini-wagon. What we've done is blend our race-winning Datsun 510 experience into a new mid-size Datsun that takes the high road to happy driving.

The Hardtop, for example, is elegance personified. Functional, too, with room for four adults in a soft, vinyl upholstered interior. Fully reclining front bucket seats, 100% nylon carpeting, a handsome dash (including an electric clock), and multi-vent flow-through fresh air add to the comfort. A standard 4-speed stick shift, power assisted front disc brakes, electric rear window defogger make driving simpler, safer, and more relaxing.

Our 710 2-Door and 4-Door Sedans are similarly favored with the standard 1800cc single overhead cam engine. Factory installed air conditioning (or a factory approved unit installed by your dealer) and a fully automatic 3-speed transmission are among the available options.

Four years ago our 240-Z roared onto the American scene as the affordable GT with great style, performance and practicality. Now its successor, the 260-Z, punches across new horizons with a zestier 2.6 liter overhead cam engine. Transistorized ignition and electric fuel pump. New Sebring-type mirror and instrument panel.

Standard equipment would fill a book. Briefly, there's a fully instrumented dash, including tach and clock. AM/FM radio, power-ass1stfront disc brakes, fully independent suspension, tinted glass, electric rear window defogger, reclining bucket seats, radial tires. Pick up your troubles in our Datsun Li'l Hustler and smile, smile, smile. Our new half-tonner has a bigger, guttier 1800cc single overhead cam engine that doesn't much care if gas stations close early. An all-steel six foot bed that lays to rest a lot of worries about how to haul campers, couches, and corn cobs. And a cab that makes you feel pampered.

The rear suspension is as load-tough as ever, but now it softens the road. Working with the torsion bar front suspension and the deep padded, contoured bench seat, it begins to treat you and your cargo like a crate of eggs.

Naturally you can get an optional automatic in place of the standard 4-speed stick. (You'll find the new indented seat puts the shifter in the palm of your hand.) A package tray and a latching glove box stash your goodies. Factory approved air conditioning installed by your dealer. And there's more leg room than in most small trucks.
